T01 scope base on Parker Hale No. 1 Supreme-questions

Got one of these in the mail, but no rings on the gun, just the base. What rings do I want?

And, what can I use for a shim? The T01 base is shipped with a shim to fit No 1 MkIII rifles, but this doesn't have it. Can I measure up a washer and see if I can fit one? I think it's a 0.08" shim.

You need 22 rings, Weavers work better than some other brands. Washer would work fine - you may need to do some additional shimming owing to manufacturing tolerances in the receiver. Mine required shimming at the front, none on the rear.

Shimmed it with two washers that made up 0.076"
