anyone running a t1 on their 870? I'm looking into a few options to run a t1 on a rail, and am wondering about cheekweld and height.

The bottom option pretty much turns to ar heights, so I have reference from how my ar feels with the high mount, but how do you find the middle one if you have it? I've seen some shotty's with the ctr cheekrise and some without.

I like that the middle one would allow me to pull off the t1 and still run ghost rings, seems it would be a little more limited sight wise on the ar style stock converter.

I have an ar stock adapter and the standard synthetic 870. I used the low mount right out of the box for both and it worked great for me.

I only had a pedestal bead sight, not ghost rings.

Cheers,

I had the top-right version on the lowest-height ADM mount. If you go that route, you will want Remington's monte-carlo butt in place of the standard one.

To be honest, there is no lower mount for a T1 than the stock one. Pick up the QR lever for it, and you're golden.

Even the lowest ADM mount raises it quite a bit. I actually prefer the stock mount on my Benelli M4... the low ADM turns it quickly into 'chin weld', especially when the stock is fully extended.
