I just got back from the range. My 3rd time out with my T1x .22lr. I just bought 2 extra mags for a total of 3.
I noticed last trip, as well as this trip, that while loading a mag its really easy to push down wrong and and up with rounds all jammed up facing upwards. Also had a few rounds jam while chambering which may not have been seated properly in the mag id assume.

No issues if i load each round carefully. But to compare it to the cz455 i also had out today, mags are night and day. there is no way to mess up loading the CZ mags (5 rd, 10rd, metal, poly).Feeding is flawless. The tikka beats the CZ in most ways but definitely not the mags! No big deal, its just a range gun. I still couldnt be happier with the T1X. Just my observation.

Anyone else notice this or am I crazy?

The mags are a bit finicky to load. They seem to appreciate extra effort with pushing each round back all the way once below the lips. And the 10th is a struggle to get in, I usually point it at the sky, slip the rim under the lips, then rotate it down like normal.

I other wise like them. They load easy. They fit well. Not too pricey. I just sometimes find after a couple rounds the follower gets tilted and a couple rounds get jammed up. I just have to be more deliberate about how i load them. I just found it unusual for such an otherwise great rifle.

Will have to keep an eye on this just bought a new t1x in .22lr also just picked up 4 spare mags I was reading some where online guys are playing with the front of the follower and bringing back the feedlips a wee tiny bit

I took mine apart to see how easy it would be to make a new mag bottom a la DIP, then decided it wasn't worth the work it would require.

I'll wait til Kinney's has them for sale again.

They're a bit finicky to load, and the 10th is a bear to get in, but I usually load less than 10 anyway.

They're definitely a departure from the norm for Tikka, it's like they contracted out the mag design.

My T3 is the smoothest feeding rifle I've ever owned.
