T1X thread protector

Has anyone here replaced their plastic thread protector with a steel one? If so where did you get it from?

I'm ok with the plastic one. Sure I'd prefer if it was metal but I don't feel the need to replace it.

Has anyone found a muzzle device similar to the tactical solutions one that is smaller than .920 diameter? I would consider that if wasn't significantly bigger than the barrel diameter.

Yes, I order from them a lot for my S&W 22. They have only 1 person doing the export paperwork so it takes them a couple of weeks (or more) to ship from date of order.
