T2 Garand -Part 2

Ok, I have an update on my rifle. I received notification that all my shipping was returned to my credit card. So that at least is all cleared up for me and I am not out any money over this whole #### show!

There is still the huge issue of them selling these when they knew outright that they weren't what they said they were and no explanation or anything on how unsafe they were!!!

My shipping was returned as well, despite my email conversations stating shipping would not be refunded.

Not a positive experience with the unneeded drama.

Not sure what will happen with the rifle, it was beautiful! Serial was PB 4778.

When you search for marstar on google, lots of reddit or CGN thread come up around the "marstar drama" theme. Not a good first impression.

Happy for you guys. Now go spend that 1800$ on something fun!

I returned an unsatisfactory Pedersoli '74 Sharps rifle to MarStar and was not credited with return postage. Cost me over $40 to learn the lesson.

Vindication! Glad you guys were made whole. Now; wondering what will become of the returned rifles?

I'll be curious to see as well if they pop back up as a board sponsor anywhere. If so, then we'll know John's claims of the boards not even covering 2 basic staff salaries is BS.

A Garand in 7.62 NATO is no Garand anyhow.
The US Gov't had some converted to 7.62X51 so I'd say they at least are within the realm of being a Garand. There were two ways that they were done, a new barrel or a spacer in the original barrel. Original barrels in 7.62 NATO were made both by Rock Island Arsenal and by Springfield Armory for the gov't.

Wow, just read about half of the original thread and I'm sickened. Completely repulsive behaviour. Good riddance to that..... I don't even have words to describe what a piece of work that guy is.

Got all my money back, transport and everything.

Love the idea of a 7.62x51 Garand thought. Think Ill get one built by a profetional.
