Would any Gents on ere have any load data for Tikka with 286 gr lapua sceners i think they are called?

ive only 25, thinking i may just run a low load with some ADI data i have... they will be for sambar in bush so no excessive, or long shots...accuracy not a big deal but did want to ask incase someone has any data.

varget(2208) or 2206h is on hand

VihtaVuori lists 55.6 grains of N150 for Lapua Mega 285 grain. Very temperature stable powder.

Peter i think you are right, Lapua MEGA, sorry.

Woodleigh manual says Varget 55gr for about 2200 up to about 59 for 2350
and 2206H 51 @ 2150 to 55.5 for 2350.

i reckon i fell for the 9.3 shooting those PPU factorys.... which r somewhat walking pace ha ha (2250)- so i want to go back down that road.

The Woodleigh manual corresponds nicely with the loads I use in my rifle, but my velocities are higher. I would go with 59 grs/Varget and keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks Guys!
Woodleigh has 2 loadings, one for older rifles i assume an the other is for doubles which can be proberly loaded that bit higher... similiar to the 303s smle and ruger 1 etc (i assume)

i rekon im loading 58gr for the 250s.... definaly for the PP an maybe less for the RNs? irrelevant for these rounds as they will be hunted an used.

got some Geco brass ill load those Megas in.

In my Verney-Carron, not a Tikka but a modern rifle I've been loading 58 gr of RL15 with the Lapua 286 Mega. Works very well in both Lapua and Norma brass, Lapua is thicker and heavier, and likely has lower internal capacity.
