Hey Fellas,
my mate with that RCM just bought a T3 in 9.3.... yeah kind of similar but ones AVAILABLE to us LOL!

I'd like to see if anyone from CGN has the 9.3 in T3? an can tell me about it.
including Recoil, felt recoil compared too..? etc.

ideally its a Sambar Gun, so whatever loads you would use on a Elk or Moose. he is Stalking and I think it will be wearing a Zeiss conquest 3-9x40? ish

he will be using Factory ammo, I can almost guarantee LOL

thanks again!

I have a T3 lite SS in 9.3
Action is super smooth, factory trigger can be set at 2 1/2 Lbs. I put a Limb saver recoil pad and filled the stock with low expanding foam put 6 200 gr. 44 bullets under the recoil pad for balance, mounted a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8 scope with Leupold extra low mounts, changed the bolt shroud and bolt handle to be used with gloves. The first 3 rounds using Lapua 286 factory were touching @ 100 yds. just what you want to see in a new rifle. This cartridge has been around for over a 110 years its been available in a large array of actions and rifles for this reason factory loading are kept at lower pressures. The 9.3 is very easy to load for almost any powder bullet combination works well limited only by your judgment and shoulder as recoil is stout being a light rifle pushing heavy bullets

I have T3 Hunter walnut and blued, in left hand, just shooting RWS 286 grains so far (chrono'd just a pinch under 2200fps) knocked an elk down with one shot (went 30 yards, rib liver other rib) but I plan on reloading 250 accubonds, which apparently can do 2700 with this rifle reloading.

My slightly heavier Hunter model recoils very comfortably with the RWS and factory butt pad, I may go to the pachymer when I get to reloading accubonds, or I may sell it as I bought a Steyr which I getting rebored to the same caliber.
