T3 Aluminum Bolt Shroud

By GAWWWWD Flick, Ya went an dunit!:) Looks awesome man!.:dancingbanana:..is there gonna be a full blown production run of these, or is it gonna be first paid, first gets?:D

I'm making a short production run to start. If demand outstrips supply, more will follow quickly.

Here it is after tumbling, with the typical matte finish found on firearms parts.

The first batch will be anodized black. They should be difficult to distinguish from the factory part, except for a small laser engraving. If there is interest in a clear anodized version (to better match stainless guns) I'll do that later.

I'll give priority to people who expressed interest earliest. Any comment in this thread, or any PM wrt the shroud counts as interest. If you don't get in on the first batch, don't worry - I promise the next one won't take 9 months :p

I have a SS Tikka, might be interested in these if they are SS, what is the price point?

They are all aluminum. The next batch will be anodized clear so they match stainless better. No price yet.

I don't have a stainless action handy, but I think all the bolts are the same.

The scope isn't supposed to be a fashion statement, I already had it when I bought the gun. :p

A closer look.

I will take one black and one silver :) count me in :) price????????

so, they will fit older M595 and M695, right :))))

Thanks again, pilgrim, for meeting up with me this morning to confirm:

Yes! The shrouds will fit older 595/695's, but they don't quite look right because the height of the cocking indicator is different. Basically the little slot that accomodates the cocking indicator on the T3 is unecessary on the 595/695's. It will be a very simple matter to omit this slot on a number of the pieces when I do the next batch - it's already too late for the current batch.

The next batch will be coming very quickly on the heels of this one, so please be patient just a little longer.

Ok! Price is $40 shipped (in Canada only) - it just barely qualifies as oversized letter mail (cheap). If you want it to come packed safely in a box it's another $10. I won't be held responsible for anything that happens between the post office and your door if you decide to go the cheap route.

Multiple purchases made at the same time will only incur the $10 shipping fee once, of course, as they can be packed together. I'll provide purchasing instructions when they are actually ready to ship, not before - but thanks for all the PM's :)

I'll try to get these ready as soon as possible, but I'm very busy with work again - 13 hr. days. Please be patient, I'm trying!
