I want to restock my T3 varmant in 6.5x55 in a Manners t4 stock. Has any one already done this? I know it wauld look good and feel right, but do they shoot as good as with the origonial stock If any one has been down this road, it wauld be great to hear your experence and what you think.

I have not tried their T4, but I have an MSGAT stock and it was fine. Robertson Composites here in Canada makes stocks for the T3 and they are incredible too.

I just got mine yesterday. Ordered it back in August. I will be doing a little write up on it as soon as I get time, probably this weekend. So far I like it alot better then the factory stock. I have not shot it yet as I have to do some reloads and bed the stock. The fit for the bottom plastic is perfect. I had to do some sanding in the barrel channel and when I bed it all should be perfect. Already i can tell it will shoot more consistant for me as the stock is stiff unlike the factory one. Give me a little time and I will get the pics up.

Looking foreward to your report of how it shoots when it's all togeather. Did the T4 add much wieght to the rifle? Thanks for your replys Don

I have been trying to get a hold of Ian for 2 weeks now. Does anyone know where he is?

I have 2 Manners T4 stocks. They are stiff well built stocks but I like the finish on the McMillans and Robertsons better.

You can get the stock in what ever weight you want between 2.5 pounds and 4.5 pounds I believe. I went with their stock weight and it doesnt feel much heavier then the factory stock.
