T3 Terminator installed

I don't know of any machine shops licensed to work on firearms. A barrel attached to an action is considered a firearm...

The story I related was way before firearms licensing...even now all they would need is a PAL

No... the law requires anyone working on a firearm and charging for it requires a federal firearms business license and all that goes with that licensing.

Yeap, and your not supposed to speed or roll stop signs..........

Vehicle infractions don't relate to Federal laws regarding firearms.

As far as I am concerned I would not be licensed to work on firearms, I would prefer to do it as a hobby... but I can't take that chance for the few dollars involved and the possible penalties.

I believe that to be another CFO sponsored initiative with no legislative/judicial substance to back it up for unrestricted guns. A machinist with a local municipal business license & a PAL in his pocket has all the law requires to posses the gun & perform a machining operation.
I'm sure Dakk, Shaun or Gimli will be along to supply the appropriate sections to the act if they do in fact exist.

You may believe what you want but the licensing law is clear on this.

"A machinist with a local municipal business license & a PAL in his pocket has all the law requires to posses the gun & perform a machining operation" ... yes he does... but not to charge for it

The ability to charge comes with the firearms business license.

According to Terminator, the through hole requires opening up to 0.025-0.030" over calibre size. That'd be .333" to .338".
The maker posted about 'em on another forum back in 2012. Backward facing ports (so it'll be really loud when shooting) and "These are CNC machined from 420 or 316 stainless steel & are available with various thread sizes from 9/16 to 20mm." Don't think concentricity will be an issue.

Thank you sure I'll be sure to pass the information on to the machinist he did mention that he would do the work for free. He was happy to help a fellow shoot out.

Hey guys

I actually found a local gun smith in Fort Mcmurray to install my terminator brake have a look at the pictures I'm very happy with the result.
