I bought a new T3 in 300wsm this year and would like to lighten the trigger a little. It shows how to do it in the manual but they say that it should not be done and that you must send it to the factory to get the safety reset for some reason. Are they just doing this to cover the themselves for the liability purposes or is this for real. So can I do it myself or take it to a gunsmith. Thanks in advance. Dev

I couldn't find anything in my manual about sending the gun back, but then again, I don't read Finnish either.:) I think what it says is the trigger is adjustable from 2-4lbs, and comes set at 3. They say it shouldn't be set lower than 2 lbs, not safe, or above 4lbs won't work properly. If in doubt, take it to a smith...

i have done both my t3's as per manuel. adjust allen screw until your happy with the pull. after adjustment i tried the #### and bang but on floor. safety worked fine. my manuel doesn't have legal disclaimer, maybe berettas legal dept is just covering there a**. it didn't reqire much adjustment to lighten the pull.

did it my T3 too.. its now at 2pounds and knock on the floor and then nothing happend the safety really work fine..
