I recently purchased a t3x in .223 thinking I'd like it.
I really hate the stock though. I don't like plastic stocks. Is there any other (easy) way of putting a walnut/beech stock on this thing other than buying another t3x in a hunter configuration?

The obvious answer is to buy a wood stock. There are used ones / take offs on EE and GP often, Boyds and several other aftermarket options, etc. tikka only makes one action size so any T3 / T3x stock will fit on any rifle.

Unless you're looking for an excuse to purchase another rifle, as Canuck said, pretty simple option is to purchase a wood stock from the EE or #######. They come up all the time, some good deals, some guys want a stupid amount of money for them. Guess it depends how soon you want it.

Can order a Boyds stock for it as well if you want. Decent aftermarket option although I still prefer the factory Tikka wood stocks over a Boyds but thats just personal preference.
