Just got this rifle on Friday afternoon and in the market for some magazine.

Can you guys post what magazine works for your rifle and what doesn't so we can compile a list so fellow cgners knows what to get for their rifle?

Likely the issues indicated above with LAR mags are due to the mag being difficult to get 10 rounds in, tough to get the last one in. This was causing first round jamming in my AR as well. The solution is to remove the follower and sand the "legs" down just enough to fit about 10.5 rounds in. This should fix the jamming.

Thank you Guys for your post I will compile a list here:

Mags known to be working fine for most user:

Pmag gen 2
Pmag gen 3
D&H metal USGI
.50 cal mag(name not to be mention)

Mags has occasional feeding issue for some user:

Grey Lar (some work while some doesn't)

Please keep them coming guys thanks!

Gen 3 PMAGs were tight on the sides of the spine in my rifle, but after about 10 insertions and removals, they work flawlessly, not drop free still, but not tight now either.

If anybody wants to run Gen 3 Pmags, take a few thousanths off the sides of the spine with a file and it will fit without further issue.

I was having some jams on the first round where the bullet tip hit the feed ramp strait on with the grey LAR pistol mags. I changed out the followers for some older green ones and now the mags are feeding perfectly with no jams.

My first gen pmags do not fit without little bit of material filed off of the sides of the spine. Feeds and fits perfectly after this mod.

I forgot to add that a pair of original Colt mags also fit perfectly.

im confused... I have gone to my local gun store twice now to see if my Gen 2 PMAGS fit and both times they wouldn't....

How are people getting their Gen 2 PMAGS to fit in the gun.. let alone work?

By filing the front of mag well. You can make the mags fit.
I tried my unnamed mag in 3 different t97 rifles.

Original grey lar mags works perfect as do troy battlemags, usgi labelle, colt, armalite, d&h and some gen two pmags. Gen three is a bit spotty as the spine width varies greatly on pmags. Lancers are a no go.
