T97 aftermarket magazine (Updated post #12)

My T97NSR likes my grey LAR mags, they're a dark grey stamped "RRA Model LAR-15". Also the Israeli E-Lander steel mags with super smooth followers. I was warned about P-mags, but most STANAG should be no problem, even the USMC mags. I did replace the LAR followers with spare E-Landers, so I shouldn't say it likes stock LAR mags, I didn't try them.
 
I get jams with the factory mag. Tapco mags. Cproducts mags. And a 5/45 mag i have dont know the manufacturer though.
a round always ends up jamed withe bullet being pressed into the case spilling powder.
 
D&H, magpul and lancer L5 magazines dont fit in my t97 but troy mags fit. every once in a while, the last round will ftf and the bullet will get pushed into the case when i use troy mags. my grey lar 15 magazine worked 100% for the first 600 rounds but today it looks like the corner of the follower is getting worn down and its not holding the bolt release. i have to hold the charging handle back to drop the mag.

A 3rd confirmation that they're fantastic. I grabbed some from Wanstalls (along with magwedges) and had zero issues through 4 mags (gotta test 'em all!)
 
In my case, only the Pmag g3 window works, all other g3 don't work. I'm just stating what I experienced. As each 97 could vary slightly in dimensions and each batch of pmags could vary in dimensions too. So the result I had with my 97 and pmags combination might not be your case. But if you like to see a video of mine works, I could post something on youtube.

Just another to add...tried a bunch of the MSAR magazines that DLASK brought in last year and they worked great. Fitment is about the same as the Gen2 PMAGs.
 
I just got 4 new PMAG 30/5 AR/M4 Gen M2 MOE in the mail for my T-97. Other then the mag that came with my T-97 and 2 LAR mags, these are the first AR mags I have ever purchased. 1 of 4 of them fit snug enough I could get them out with one hand on the pistol grip and one on the mag. The other 3 I needed both hands on the mag and my wife holding the T-97 down on the couch... I had to remove quite a bit of material to even get them to fit to the same level as the first mag. None are drop free.
