T97 and Gen3 P-mags this may shed some light?

Was playing around on youtube, and came across this vid.. There's a good chance Gen 3 p-mags don't work in the Norinco for the same reason they don't work in the Beretta...

I don't have my T97 (sold it) or Gen 3 p-mags, but that shoulder that's preventing overinsertion is probably the reason why they won't run in the T97 as well

Seems plausible to me. It often does not take much to make a mag not work (or work) in a given firearm.

I took a file to the mag well, as suggested in the T97 Sticky. All my Gen2, Gen3 pmags work flawlessly now.

Personally anyone using a number of systems that utilize the STANAG ar mags should avoid the pmags. The D&H work in all my rifles. AR, T97, Tavor. No issues. Pmags and others I've found tend to vary. I'm not the kind of person that wants to be making sure I have gen2 pmag for one firearms and gen3 for another. I load them up and head to the range. No worries, no fuss.
