T97 barrel issue AND NRR WISHLIST!!!

So, if you can still make changes like some of these modifications, these guns must be many months/year from arriving?! Is that a fair assessment?
Thanks,

Now that's changing the whole gun. Bolt bolt carrier all recoil springs gas system feed ramps barrel mags. ect

Is there a labour shortage in the PRC? I'm pretty sure they could manage the changes.

Im quite impressed with the T97. I'd never think it was a Norc if I didn't know better. It seems to have way fewer glitches than their M14. I put that down to the T97 being an indigenous design based off their QBZ-95, instead of being reverse engineered. The OP's gun must have been built on a Friday afternoon, I haven't seen that defect on any of the T97's Ive looked at.

On the next gen T97 I would like to see: a) A thinner front sight blade
b) A folding vertical forward grip, or a Tri-rail to mount one
c) A bayonet lug for M16 style blades

Still, I am very, very happy with what I got for around $1000

Some good recommendations in the "Make the T97 more reliable" thread as well - raise the mag release a mil or 2. Improved feed ramp. Wider mag well to accommodate Pmags.

Oh, +1 for an Ambi-mag release.

Im guessing canam's version isn't even assembled yet if they can catch this issue. Here's looking at the new year.

Did Can am not tell us in an earlier thread that his guns were been packed to be shipped? This was around the time the other guns started coming into the country. Now it is coming out that they are still in production or have yet to be produced. It seems that he doing what ever it takes to stall for time (including mislead people) in hopes that there will still be a market left for his rifles. Please tell me I am wrong and clarrify earlier statements that these were already made. I have a pre-order waiting but it sure seems like we are been strung a long.
