Don't remember this being discussed so I thought I'd bring this to the table. I see postings on the T97 appearing on both Black and Green as well as the Red Rifles sections. In the interest of simplifying searches and following posts, where should they appear in?

Norinco makes AR's as well... are they red? Nope... black. Color relates to style IMO, no where it was made. The T97 is a modern .223 calibre bullpup. Thats as black as it can get.

The AR was not designed by a communist country. The T97 was.

Then I suggest you read the definition of the Red Rifle section. It specifically says " Evil Baby Eaters from the Combloc and the Warsaw Pact."

China is part of the Combloc.

Its a red rifle.

Hate to piss in your cornflakes sewktbk.... they are communist, but...

The term Eastern Bloc or Communist Bloc refers to the former communist states of Central and Eastern Europe, generally the Soviet Union and the countries of the Warsaw Pact.[1][2][3] The terms Communist Bloc and Soviet Bloc were also used to denote groupings of states aligned with the Soviet Union, although these terms might include states outside Central and Eastern Europe.

In the Western Bloc, the Warsaw Treaty Organization of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance is often called the Warsaw Pact military alliance; abbreviated WAPA, Warpac, and WP. Elsewhere, in the former member states, the Warsaw Treaty is known as:
Albanian: Pakti i miqësisë, bashkëpunimit dhe i ndihmës së përbashkët
Bulgarian: Договор за дружба, сътрудничество и взаимопомощ
Romanized Bulgarian: Dogovor za druzhba, satrudnichestvo i vzaimopomosht
Czech: Smlouva o přátelství, spolupráci a vzájemné pomoci
Slovak: Zmluva o priateľstve, spolupráci a vzájomnej pomoci
German: Vertrag über Freundschaft, Zusammenarbeit und gegenseitigen Beistand
Hungarian: Barátsági, együttműködési és kölcsönös segítségnyújtási szerződés
Polish: Układ o Przyjaźni, Współpracy i Pomocy Wzajemnej
Romanian: Tratatul de prietenie, cooperare şi asistenţă mutuală
Russian: Договор о дружбе, сотрудничестве и взаимной помощи
Romanized Russian: Dogovor o druzhbe, sotrudnichestve i vzaimnoy pomoshchi

It`s more about keeping the lines of discussion about 1 rifle confined to 1 forum instead of 2. I don`t think its about the technicality of being considered one or the other since there is already a bit of ambiguity in the red rifle section; I see discussions about Mosins (battle rifle?) SKS (Red) CZ & VZs (Black & Green) there.

I think it's just a matter of getting the mods to lay down the rule, one way or the other. What say ye Mods?

Most of the threads are in the Black and Green rifle section due to the shared interest with ARs Tavors etc. Just for simplicity sake it will stay here.

This is not worth even our usual trash talking. The last time this argument got going it turned ugly quick, so this one is done too.
