T97 Gas selector

Just got my T97 today and I have a question about the gas selector position for shooting. It is ment to be vertical or to the right???

You'll see that the catch engages with three notches, and the notches have number engraved over them. Vertical is the "0" position. It was designed for using rifle grenades, and the rifle will not cycle on this setting.
There is a "1" for normal operation, and a "2" for adverse conditions. Leave it set on "1"

I will have to take another look when I get home as I didn't see any numbers.

At around the 25s mark you see what happens if you leave the selector on 0 after cleaning and then go out to shoot a match
