T97 Gen 2 Lower Hand Guard

Hello,

Curious to know if anyone who has bought the new T97 has installed the LGH from T97.ca. Im looking at buying one but before I do Id like to know if there are any issues with the fit of Gen 1 and 2.

I was reading in the LHG thread that they can't confirm it because they understandably don't want to buy a firearm with a clone of their upper handguard on it. So I am seeing if anyone else has tried it yet.

I had no problems installing on a gen1. It fits well, no movement.

Oh I got it. but if the new t97 lower is the same as the old one it should fit right ?

No problem at all on my gen2. Replaced the factory plastic lower since day 1 and over 1000rds fired no problem at all. There is a screw in the front bottom allow you tighten it if there is any movement so it will fit for sure. To hook the trigger easier just take off the upper if you are FTU or Gen2 and press down the trigger on the hook. I also suggest buying their extended butt pad.
