T97 picture thread

WE JUST GOT A BUNCH IN and we are selling them at $999.95.
Steve will be putting up a pic or two but they are very cute and I love the charging handle.
So reminiscent of my first Colt Sporter.

Now looks like every retailer have them in stock and some of them selling it for $999

Peolpe still try to sell them on EE for $1200+ ?

Step # 1.5 take out patent in China-then the PLA would have to pay royalties!!(ya, I know, the PLA wouldn't care)

Step 4 or 5- Kick yourselves because the PLA use use rocker mags with ambidextrous lever releases on their rifles.

Step 6 -Feel sad you just wasted a ton of money, get no royalties, and get teary when you see a Geico commercial. :sok2 :pirate:

Joking of course.

LOL right you are! hanging my head in shame :p

Blarf... Still waiting on mine... :(

However, I think I figured out a low cost solution that will let a micro red dot co-witness with the irons and not impede on the ability to fully disassemble the rifle.

Basically, it's a barrel clamped pic-rail, with a red dot mounted on a high AR riser. I've got odds and sods parts lying around that I think I can Mcgyver into something good. I've run a similar setup on 858's in the past, and with a LER pistol scope, been able to consistently shoot 5-6" groups at 200 yards.

Even with a decent round count, with the barrel heated up, I haven't noticed too much of a loss in accuracy either. Really, I'm a "minute of IDPA silhouette target" shooter so it's good enough for me.

Pics to come when my rifle lands...

You can access all the parts of the gun that you'd want to clean without disassembling the upper handle area: Bolt, carrier, gas system.

If you made the fulcrum a roller, you'd save the finish from rubbing off the gun.

I thought of doing that but wanted to keep it as simple as possible, so there would be less chance of failure. I just took mine apart to do some finishing touches and after doing a 100+ mag dump drills there is no wear on the finish of the mag well so far.

P.S. My reloads are much quicker and consistent with my ambi release.

I have my Troy padded sling on it, I used some blackhawk hooks though, makes it super fast to take off the sling. I have to admit, putting a sling on one of these T97 is way better than having to deal with putting one on my Tavor.

I think IWI messed up on the whole sling with the parachute strings thing (like wtf).

When is someone going to make a overall review, accuracy, or range report video?

I'm planning to do one full of Brony references and action figures set to some sick My Little Pony dubstep in the background when I get it...

I found a tag from one of my daughters plushies, and I sharpied over it "My Little T97: Bullpups are Magic"

I was trying to think of gun themed lyrics to the theme song while I was reloading this morning.
