Like the optic setup too. I prefer lower 1/3 cowitness.
Got mine today. Never held or seen a bullpup in person before today. I love it! So ugly , only a mother, or Gun nut, could love it!! My first impression? It is so little!! 
All cleaned up and reassembled. All my LAR Mags fit and release very well.....better than the 30/5 mag in fact.

Some thoughts:
-The magazine it comes with is really heavy. Using my ghetto scale, a D&H Mag weighs in about 5.5 oz, a Pmag 6 oz, the T97 mag at about 7 oz (it really feels like a brick).
-I honestly don't mind the magazine release and I understand why it is the way it is (edit) - watching this guy, he seems to have his load and unload down to a science:
-Speaking of mags - the .50 MAGS THAT SHALL NOT BE MENTIONED absolutely DO NOT fit. If you use one, you'll need to disassemble the rifle, wedge a screwdriver in the mag, use a C-clamp to hold the mag release, and hit the screwdriver with a hammer in order to get it out.
-Magpul Gen2 Pmags are out. D&H, LAR, Nork CQA Mystery mags, and Tapco Pmags are in (Tapco's dont drop free)
-Read the instructions and make darn sure you hold the butt stock with your right hand when you disassemble - the return spring is under tension and flies out with a LOT of force, so don't put your face behind the buttstock when you're taking it apart.
-The cleaning kit is indeed absolutely adorable...
-2 Ar-spec risers mounted on a barrel clamped pic-rail appear to give a TRS-25 a near perfect cowitness with the iron sights (I'll fine tune it tomorrow at the range).

Noticeably more front heavy than without, but the gun's so short and heavy at the rear to begin with it it's barely noticeable - in fact going from a low to high ready still feels faster and easier than with my 14.5" CQA's.
We'll see how it shoots tomorrow.

The mag release on the actual Chinese military rifle as shown in that video is different than ours. It's in the back middle. More like the RFB mag release than ours. So they can use their weak side hand to hit the release rather than the wrap around index finger method we have to use. That being said after practicing a bit it's not as bad as originally thought. Just not as fast as an AR or Tavor.
Totally agree. Actually look at fire balls trigger on the valment then expand it and you will notice something else that was taken from another platform. As I said before to certain people of the grid, China does not invent stuff. They just copy it and change it a bit. The real deal model that we first received before the ban hammer came down was way more ergo friendly and much nicer of a shooter than this abortion. Sorry I know you guys are in love with this flavor of the month but I also know compared to your other bull-pups in the locker by far this will prove your least favorite by the end of the year.
Stop wasting money on bushnell junk and no at the moment there are no mounting platform that will retain zero. Except maybe if you screw and glue a rail right above the handguard.
I managed to fit a Trijicon Ta33 3x ACOG on mine, no rail needed but had to measure and drill thru the tough steel proprietary rail. I can use the iron sight as well since the 3x acog comes with a see thru mount. I parked the TA60 picatinny adapter, not needed.
I'm just waiting to put on a short A2 bird cage flash hider instead of the long one. I may have to either thread it or remove the threads on the A2 and locktite and pin it instead of the long Chinese one. it'll shorten the rifle by at least 1''.
