I don't think I have the gluts for goose stepping and my Mandarin is pretty weak, but I can try.
If I can shoulder/sling/load/unload/make ready as fast as the guy in the OP, I'd be pretty happy.
I'm no Chris Costa, but I think most of my proficiency with an AR comes from doing drill with a C7.
On another note - I found this video the other night. It reminded me of this original post (warning - graphic content - unidentifiable dudes getting shot and hit with flame throwers).
From the looks of the uniforms of the OP, it would appear as if they are stationed in an arid part of China, probably along the West. It's quite possible these guys have had to deal with Taliban/Al-Qaeda fighters as a result of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
My parents (who own a home in China) were telling me there's a fairly large area in Western China where a certain Islamic ethnic group is at the very least sympathetic to Al Qaeda - so all the China bashers might do well to remember the old "enemy of my enemy" saying.
I don't know if our military employs flame throwers... but still... flame throwers are cool. The Chinese sure don't mess around...
