Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can help me out by posting a photo of a T97 with an X95, bonus points if the T97 has the FTU and LHG and the X95 has the slim butt plate.

I am currently on the fence about picking up another X95. I sold my last one because I just didn't "get" its ergonomics and for that kind of money I want to like or even love everything about the gun. I had a similar experience with the T97, having sold my first one partially because it was picky with mags and also because it was my first bullpup and just seemed weird. I have since picked up another T97FHTLHG for a price I couldn't refuse and thought I would give the platform another try, and have found it's really grown on me.

Anyway, I'm looking at a decently priced X95 but again want to be pretty confident that for that kind of money I will be happy. The differences I remember (aside from functionality, reliability, parts availability and everything else discussed ad nauseum in other threads) were that the X95 was REALLY heavy and the T97 had a better balance. What I don't remember though, is how their physical dimensions compare. All the threads I've searched have been destroyed by the Photobucket fiasco, but I remember there being lots of side by side shots posted before.

If no one can post a picture maybe someone could post the X95's OAL? Again, preferably with the thin butt plate?

Thanks team!

The x95 and T97 are at most 2" difference in length, probably with the x95 being shorter due to the T97's long fixed FH.

As far as weight is concerned, a T97 with an FTU and LHG will probably weigh equal or more, and will have a poorer balance due to more of that weight being shifted forward with those mods.

I will try and grab a pic of mine together in the AM along with their weights.

Here ya go. I don't have a scale to weigh, but they don't feel that different. I much prefer the X95 as it just seems to be a better overall package. Length is almost the same, tho X95 has the original butt pad, so with a thin one would likely be ~ cm shorter.

Hi team, bumping this thread again.

Could somebody please measure and post the OAL of their X95?

Please indicate if it has the OEM or thin butt plate. Thanks again everyone.

Thread protector = awesome fireball mode! :) :) :)

Flash hiders are relatively useless outside conflict/low light/night shooting. I remove all my flash hiders and either put a thread protector or a compensator.
