I read somewhere that the QBZ-95 it's derivived from costs the Chinese government the equivalent of $700, if so a $1000 asking price in Canada seems quite reasonable given the usual level of Canadian market markup.

Yes that's right a redesigned T97 that is non restricted. 19" barrel, 223/556 chambered and it takes AR mags

As a leftie, I find that offensive. That's the reason why I would not buy a T97 because its not lefty-friendly unlike the tavor or FS2000. Those are at least lefty friendly.

i have fortunately none of those spots have guns. i said guns....i make an effort to buy north americans with focus on canadian but with the popularity among sheeple to buy cheap crap chinese shyt is all you can get sometimes. dont feel that because i cant get a gun any other way i will buy chinese.

Not about the type 97 but I have to ask Blaxsun whay have you gone to saying that 50 Beo mags take 16 rounds of 223 rather than the 18 that was previously determined?

China doesn't seem to keep supply up very well. Are NP29s in stock anywhere right now? M305s? Jw105? When is marstar's norinco boat going to land? This year? Next Year?

16 is the number that will reliably load on a closed bolt.
