Are you sure it doesn't work with P-Mags? I thought I heard on Reload Radio's interview of the Calibre Magazine guy that the prototype worked fine with PMags.

Those mods all look awesome, though the last one with the magnifier is a bit off? Just trying to envision someone actually trying to look through the magnifier.

Good call man. When I checked out the iron sights they were pretty cramped. To use the setup you are referring to you would need a tiny head

Here is what I have gathered so far:

It does not accept polymer magazines only usgi mags

There is a scope mount available from canam

The firearm is reliable and at least fairly accurate (past t97s were very accurate)

The ergonomics suck (oh well)

Can still use usgi Beo mags

Flash hider is pinned and not threaded

I cannot think of anything else at the moment.

Why do people keep saying this crap. They work with the new Pmags, I know so because I personally messaged a guy from the Philippines who used one in his full auto T97, the video is on youtube if you want to watch it.

A dealer who test fired it said they had problems with polymer magazines. Wolverine has recently stated that they do work with polymer magazines. I am not concluding That they work with pmags until I test it myself. Only time will tell.

I stopped in today at Wolverine today, bought a brand new pmag, and tried it on the T97. It seated and drop free perfectly. I cant speak to how it feeds rounds, but from what I could tell, it looks like pmags should work fine.

AFAIK it's not but 97-specific mounts are readily available. Got one from CanAm for $50, and I think they'll be giving them away with their 97's.

Well, I'll have to find another option then =) Hard to imagine that thing - adapter from T97 to rail, adapter from rail to carry-handle,and ACOG on top of that..

Bought one too. Damn, I think i got a pretty bad deal ordering the rifle from SFRC, CanAm sells them 200$ cheaper..

I'm on their waiting list too, but I wanted to get one the sooner the better, so chances are I'll end up with 2
