Hail Mary pass here...

Does anyone have experience scoring IPSC matches with tablets?

I want to set up my club with nooks running practiscore for each squad so they can score the matches on them. That looks pretty simple and easy. Even have the Ipad to communicate with them. Running around on a golf cart with wifi to collect scores as we go is no problem.

The challenge I'm facing is trying to figure out how to integrate it with a PC for stage and competitor registration and downloading final results for archiving stats later.

Is there a way to get practiscore to talk to WinMSS? If so, how? (WinMSS has all the members entered, so it's database is pretty useful)
I heard there is a way to get practiscore to talk with USPSA's EZWinScore, but I don't have access to that program.

Anyone know where I can get that? (without making a USPSA section - we're going to someday - but it's not going to happen soon enough.)
I just want to see it in action, I don't know if it will even do the job with different divisions, etc.

If there's another app system that works, I'm open to it too.

Sean, as Doug said, we've been using that web-based convertor, so you export match *.psd file from PractiScore, post it to the web site and get WinMSS.cab file back that you can import into winmss.

For competitor registration, you can simulteniously use multiple tables and then sync them up. To handle pre-registration outside of PractiScore the simplest is to use Excel spreadsheet import into PractiScore as described at https://www.practiscore.com/psregimport

The IPSC Ontario match system also handles registration and then allows to export registered competitors into PractiScore. You guys can actually use it for your matches, will just need to register your members in the system. If interested, email to webmaster@ipsc-ont.org and we can give you a walk trough and can set you up.

There are also newly created PractiScore Club support system (though it won't be free). https://clubs.practiscore.com/

Sean, I just noticed, you wanted to export match from winmss into practiscore... I don't have converter for that right now (because our match registration system makes it redundant), but it won't be too hard to implement (let me know of you really need it).

Though to be honest, it is easier/faster to register competitors in Excel or directly on a tablet than in winmss. :D
