Tac Light - What are you running?

The Fenix TK11 is a solid light, I have them on 4 of my rifles now

Hey fat tony, if you want to get alot more use out of that flashlight I would strongly recomend a LED bulb upgrade like this one ht tp://www.batteryjunction.com/tle-1f.html I got a few of them and replaced the bulbs on all my D flashlights, including 3 of the military ones with the angled head. Well worth the price, its brighther and extends the battery life by alot.

great idea, however for less money you could just replace it entirely for a compact, durable flashlight from Dealextreme that runs on CR123A/18650s (DX has free shipping).

the light on the left is ~$15, will outperform any drop-in Maglite LED, and will outlast Maglite construction by far. Maglites are really quite flimsy construction compared to modern tactical lights.

for the retro military flashlight fat tony posted it would be a pretty cool upgrade though :p
i cant really tell but that looks like a scuffed up old plastic lens -- if so, you can find glass and acrylic replacements at dealextreme pretty cheap with free shipping - although they wont have O-rings that size.

Hey that's cool manbearpig, I wonder if they have a better lens for my D cell maglite and my little 3 watt duracell flashlight that takes the 3 aaa batteries - Oh wait I loaned that to a friend and he has not given it back. :(

Lense

If you're changing the lense, get a new bezel and cap too.

E2e on Lite Mount Technologies shotgun mount and a Cree 20 degree flood optic from Malkoff Devices in an M Series Valiant Concepts head assembly.

The E Series Head assembly will convert any SureFire E Series Light to use an M Series Malkoff Devices drop-in lamp assembly. Now I don't have the positive terminal getting squashed on the base of the SF incandescent lamp under recoil.

Although not rail mounted, I run Surefire foreends on both my 12.5 Grizzly, and 18.5 Mossy 500.

How's it holding up on the 12.5 Griz? I thought the light would get beat up pretty good from the muzzle blast from sticking out past the barrel.
