TAC powder for 350 and 358

I'm going by memory here but if you follow the Barnes data and use their COAL you will have no problems with fit or feeding with the short Remington Model Seven mag box and definitely no worries with a Ruger MK II.
With the 20" barrel on the Two Model Seven CDL's I used to load for 2850+FPS was safely achieved and the Ruger MKII with the 22" barrel was closer to 3000FPS all under an inch accuracy wise and TAC is one of the more temp stable of the ball powders. Best accuracy was achieved on the second node closer to max on all three.
As for deer I have taken four that I recall with this bullet. Two were large-bodied Mule deer.
I practice high-shoulder shots almost exclusively and the 200gr TTSX smashes them and plants them on the spot without a ton of bloodshot meat.
Double-lung I can't tell you but remember monos always exit and you are dealing with two .35cal holes even if expansion was less than ideal.
A cup and core with good manners in the 350 is the Sierra 225gr Gameking and expands nicely and dumps energy nicely if that's more your thing, but realize you will not enjoy the flatter trajectory of the Barnes load.

673 remington. i kinda figured 250 yards or a little better was easy with this rifle, so that's what i was figuring on. the 225 sgk i hoped to run in the 2600s to duplicate the old 350 rigby load. the other bullet i have heard good things about was the 200 hornady roundnose, though im sure it sheds velocity like crazy. just heard for deer the horndady roundnose really expands well. a friend and i kind of figured maybe run the sgk for deer and partitions or woodleighs for heavy stuff since i've been told the point of impact between partitions and sgk are pretty much identical. hadn't considered the barnes until you mentioned it but it sounds like a doozy for heavier stuff.
