Anyone interested in a Tactical Repsonse Course in Ontario?

I got the idea from the BC course thread....looks like we might have enough interest here.

We need at least 12 people to get a course off the ground.


The venue would be EESA.

Cost would be more than other places........$300 US per day due to increased travel and lodging costs.


Looking at fall 2007 or so.

Storm, I would be interested in a 1 day rifle only course. Of course, if it was more then 1 day then I might be interested in a handgun/rifle combo.

FWIW -- TR has fixed courses.
IMHO it is a mistake to deviate from the course ciriculum or to try to add to much in.

The vast majority of people will NEED that training, and that it is the way James has his courses laid out

- I recommend people doing the handgun first -- then the carbine. Since the TF Fighting Rifle course does some handgun.

hey if your a total civilian is the course a waste of time? Or is it to specific? I wouldnt mind a small course to shoot my AR, Pistol and Shottie better... but is this course more geared towards those who are in the industry?

No -- its geared toward an armed civilian perspective.

Also interested in any of the other courses they offer that dont require a prereq

I am still getting details on how many days. But from what I gather Pistol is 2 days as is rifle...

So 4 days would be $1200. Plus about 1000 rounds of ammo for each.

Perhaps we should look at an ammo buy if this takes off.

There is a small motel about 6 minutes from the range. London is 30 minutes away with a slew of hotels from cheap to expensive.

St. Thomas has a comfort Inn 20 minutes away.

well looking at pics of past events the ARs seem to rule but I have seen AKs and VZs as well.
