I cant seem to find much on them. Although the full rifle should be able to do the 1/2 moa at 50 challenge it seems.

Who has one, or parts from them. Like them ?

I would highly recommend putting your hard earned money into a rifle or barrel of any of the following makes prior to considering a TacSol:
Kidd, Volquartsen, Dlask
Take some time to read some of the reviews and issues regarding TacSol on various rimfire forums. I have owned several TacSol products in the past and will not be doing so again. A TacSol product is more likely to have functional issues than any of the brands mentioned above. Their customer service in Canada is non-existent. At least, that has been my experience, which includes an AR-22 upper and a 1911 .22 conversion.

I have one an xring, no issues so far, though I opted for the model with the stock trigger (which I upgraded) as there seems to be a lot of complaints/issues about the TacSol xring triggers. Accuracy is good for a 10/22. Is it as good as a Dlask or Kidd match chambered barrel? Probably not but I like the light weight, it's not as constrictive with different types of ammo and most importantly... it's good enough for me.

If I wanted a bench rest, uber accurate, heavy 10/22 I would go with Kidd or Dlask.

That's all I need to hear! Guess ill "make my own" 10/22

I will likely order a complete rifle from them. SO many upgrades though I still want lol.

Yes, the complete DAR 22 is a really great value. If you are after accuracy just make sure you get the match or "bentz" chamber (I think it's called) not the sporter chamber.

Yes, it seems like that is the way I will have to go. It doesn't like mini mags? Assuming Eley match or other "match/target" ammo is fine though?

Being honest, I may get two barrels a match and a sporter lol

The kidd two stage red trigger is tempting also...

If you want the most accuracy I would highly recommend this barrel:

KIDD Match Bull Barrel, 20", Stainless Steel ($330 from Dlask) +

I bought a 10/22 Target model as my first 10/22 and it was actually great but the I wanted more so I pretty much replaced everything on it until the only thing left was the trigger housing. If I could go back I would have just purchased the DAR 22 with the trigger job. You can always go back and change the barrel in the future if you want to "upgrade" to a Kidd. Many here will swear the Dlask match barrel is just as good.

Sound advice, I was thinking about this.

As long as I can place 10 shots under 1 inch at 50 yards. (A savage MK2 can do this) I'm a happy camper. I'm worried about dropping a grand and having savage accuracy.

Id love to see some targets from people. From what I HEAR dlask rifle will match a cz.

That's a nice looking rifle! I was looking at that one too earlier. For that type of money I could sell you my complete KIDD build minus the custom stock extension and save you $50. You might want to price out your different options to see whats best ;)

yah its going to be a dlask instead now ! Look like that though! lol

I returned a TacSol because of trigger issues and am now waiting for my new Dlask DAR-22. I opted for a sported chamber because I have a significant stock pile of bulk ammo and CCI minimags. One I plink my way through all that I will upgrade to a match chambered barrel.

I will be going all out on everythting for my dlask, IE two stag kidd trigger, different stock, ect ect ect. I will also be getting a sporter barrel, then later buying the target barrel.

Dlask Arms DAR-22 First Impressions
Just received my DAR-22 and thought I would show it off a bit. I chose Dlask because I believe they make the best 10/22 style receiver. I upgraded to the KIDD Two Stage and added Dlask's nitride bolt to get the best performing action possible.
I opted for a sport chambered basic 16.5" barrel because I read that these can be quite accurate. Stuck a 10x bushnell elite on it and headed to the range.IMG_0454.jpg

I was anxious about going to the range after my experience with a TacSol. Things went way better with the Dlask.
I grabbed about eight different types of ammo just to see how it cycled and get it sighted in.
It ate everything flawlessly, not a single missfeed or jam in 240 rounds. I don't know if this is typical but I was thrilled.
I would like to say it was grouping well but I was having so much fun playing with the trigger and putting it through its paces that I barely slowed down enough to concentrate. (Reminded me of being a kid at the carnival trying to shoot out that star with a BB gun). Several types of ammo showed promise but that will have to wait till my next range visit.
So, as for my first impressions, I think this gun is going to be awesome!

picture is upside down but that is good news! I was thinking their complete rifle but single stage kidd trigger and magpul OD green stock

Look forward to seeing range results!

I'm only concerned about sinking 1500 into a rifle that shoots as well as a 300 buck savage. I'm drawn towards cz's and annies for the accuracy but I will have to modify or change out the stock for proper cheek position. (I have to on almost all rifles) Once I see some targets from the dlask rifles I will likely be sold. Other wise maybe a tricked out cz? Or buy a savage and have the same results for half the price ? lol (potentially)

I was never expecting this rifle to be the most accurate 22 I own, but a do expect it will be the most fun. I am hoping that it will help get my son away from the computer and out to the range.
