Tac Vest recommendations

My lady and I are going to attend an away three gun event this year and do local matches as well. She shoots an AR15, I have a tricked out Mini 14.
I might also opt to use my M1 Garand.

What reasonably priced vests would anyone suggest - with or without built in pistol holster? A utility pouch for shotgun ammo might be a good idea as well.
 
I wouldn't recommend a vest, you're better of with your stuff on your belt or a chest rig. What's your budget?

If you do go with a vest, don't get one with a built in holster. Most of those I've seen are cross-draw and may not be permitted in the comps you enter.

I'm partial to the Tactical Tailor MAV split front chest rigs with an X harness on the back for a chest rig. I also like Blackhawk! Serpa holsters if not worn on a war belt. If on a war belt go with a Safariland drop holster but never something that hangs around your knees...

I cant comment on the vests but I just got my PIG UCR from SKD tactical states side. Its $99.00 and shipping though a little steep at 40.00 the chest rig was here in 5 business days. holds 8 magpul mags no problem and 4 pistol mags on top of the front two double pouches with space for 2 additional pouches either side. I got mine in multi cam and the quality is top notch as far as I'm concerned. Also in that pricee range up here there doesn't seem to be much other than the 5.11 chest rig and judging by pictures looked far more bulky that what I was looking for.
 
Something modular, vests that try to do everything generally succeed at doing nothing well. I'm partial to hsgi gear but any quality us made gear will serve your well for years to come.

Second the recommendation for the PIG UCR. I added the H Harness adapter to mine. The only complaint I have is the pistol mag pouches are large and the mags fit sloppy, you'll need to use the velcro flap cover to keep them secure. Light, easy to adjust and wear, keeps everything at hand and holds a lot of stuff.

The HSP D3 rig is similar, but highly modular and way more expensive. Probably one of the best money can buy, I seriously considered one before I came across the PIG, if you have the coin check it out.
