Tac21 glass bedding?

I recently did a bedding on a LSS. Performance after was noticeable. Went from 1 Moa to about 3/4 Moa on a good day.

What got me was noticeable wear lines less than 1/8 inch on my receiver. That and the rear tang fit horribly in the chassis.

Bed it. It's going to be quite the job on a TAC21 though. Best of luck.

I had my savage bedded by the chou's and they did a great job. When I switch to my new barrel past summer they pulled the bedding out and glued it in. This makes for an extremely stiff action and you do not need to run a recoil lug, or worry about action bolts coming loose. It also allows you to make the gun into a switch barrel.

When you talk to the boys they will try and convince you to glue in. I know Gord O and Bob R both have glued in action I there tac 21 and those guns shoot very well.

So after talking to my local 'smith, he is not interested in bedding the Tac21. He is far too busy with other work to take on this slightly awkward project. This leaves me with glueing the action in (not really interested), running it without bedding, sending it out to the Chou brothers for likely the season or selling the chassis and starting over with something else.

I'm starting to think of just letting this one go and starting over.
