TacPro Cheek Riser - Opinions?

Got one installed myself on 2009 poly easy to instal straight forward clear instructions. Havnt shot it yet since but from getting behind it in the basement wish it was a little higher. My own fault should of checked to make sure it was going to be high enough before drilling holes could of made it a 1/4 to 1/2 in higher would of been nice. For your info I have a arms 18 mount and a redfield 2-7 mounted as low as I can get it. I'll try and post some pics as soon as I can other then that it looks good and appears well made and delivered fast.

Freerider,

You can raise the cheek rest 1/4" by filing the bottom of each slot square, to lengthen it by 3/16". The holes should not be drilled higher, since that would make the rest too high for use with iron sights.

The TAC PRO cheek rest for M14 rifles will raise your cheek up to 1.5" above the comb. It's unusual for anyone to need the full height increase.

Are you using high scope rings?

Picked up the cheek piece from Fabsports this afternoon, great guy!
Just finished installing it and it's one fine piece with no height issues whatsoever!
 
The rings are as low as I can get the scope barely clears my rear iron sight with it cranked all the way down. I am shooting it as is for now in all honesty my shooting needs work so could defiantly bee me needing to sort out my positions. Going to try and get some coaching from more experienced shooters before I make any mods.
