Hi guys, i just bought a used but unfired 10-22.
I bought it because i want to make it Tactical.
I don't want the weapon to be restricted so that's why i go with a Ruger.
MP15-22 are awesome but they are restricted... :(

I know there is alot of options but i want something strong and different
from a SR22.
I did search on the net, and i found 2 really hot stocks systems.
First is the Troy industries T22, wich have built-in flip/sights.

The second is from Nordic ( long and short versions )

Someone ever tried one of those stocks ???
I want to ear your comments on those... :confused:
 
Troy Inc T22 will probably not be available north of the border at this time, hopefully soon than never at all. The Nordic Chassis is the same one sold on the SR22 and am not sure if you can get just the kit anywhere in Canada at this time.

I'm not a big fan of the Promag Archangel kit myself (sorry Hical) :D

Choice would be yours, personally I would take the Troy if it was available
 
To be honest, i'm not a big fan of the Archangel, its hot but i dunno something is weird...on that stock !!! :p
The Marauder from Promag look awesome ( especially with bull barrel ).
But i want something more rigid.
The ATI have a folding stock but i want it non-folding...
Tapco Tactical trainer is a well built ergonomics but sadly look more like a toy to me (sad).
Nordic is the same as a SR22 but i saw that had many more options
than SR22's.
Just for fun, did the SR22 come in short and long handguard ?
Because i want it long, thinking to put 16.5 or 18 inch bull barrel on it.
I'll se when i have the stock...

Hey Hical, can you cross some of those Troy industries T22 stocks this side
of the boarder ?

The SR22 comes with a 9" hand guard, there are many aftermarket options for it as well, Dlask being the big seller.

If Hical can get the Troy T22, he would be everyone's best friend who wants one, especially if he could get the Tactical Version and not just the Sport

You know why ?
He sale some SKS sights from Techsights...
He's the only one ( or very few ) who sell them in Canada...
And he's a gr8 guy to work with... fast shipping ( when postal serv. work :) )

So maybe he ( Hical ) can do something for us ?
I know they (TROY ) got an international shipping program...
Lets see !

Nice gun Bone-collector, you only need to get or made a modified AR/ruger mag and this will look badass !!!
 
Stock only. I would sell just the Three piece nordic set, and will keep the stock and forearm. The forearm is a YHM, I'd consider selling it. Its mid-length IIRC. The nordic '3 piece' is basically the part that wraps around the 10/22. Then you can affix AR-15 stock, grip and forearm to it.
 
Just get the SR or the Nordic Kit if you can get one and then make it your own. Here's mine. Built it over the winter. Started as a stock SR22, now the only parts Ruger are the receiver, hammer strut, and the trigger guard.

You like your Magpul stock ?

Where i can buy the piece between the pistol grip and the trigger guard ??
I'm sure Nordic have it but maybe there is a store in Canada...
