Tactical 10/22 which stock

I have had a number of brands and feel the Nordic Comp is far the best due to the compatibility with all AR furniture.

I already have a target 10/22 build with a bull barrel and boyds stock so I want something with that black rifle look. Doesn't have to be crazy accurate as I will be running buis sights and a red dot. Primary use for it will be ringing steel at 50 yards,

Axiom stock is another option.
Super light and takes milspec stocks.
So pistol grip, light and milspec. If it was aluminium, imo it would be a winner.
A NR m&p 15-22 would be best!

Can't get anymore tactical then these Nordic Components rifles. Like I said they are more flexible then any other brand.

From Brownells:

A lot of different configurations are possible by just changing a few parts:

I had the ATI AR22 stock. While it looked "tacticool" and all, it's was not with the best quality. Though, the forend is aluminum that was nice. But what I found was that my kit did not fit properly and my action was mounted in the kit pointing downward. If that makes sense? I ran out of adjustment in my vortex scope and even my BUIS's wouldn't adjust to the point of impact. Having a SR22 in the past I had to make a barrel block for support in the forend to raise it upwards, so I could get everything sighted in.

I ended up selling it, and my advise to you is to pick something other than the ATI AR22. Though ATI did say it was able to be replaced from the dealer I purchased from in Winkler, MB, they refused to do so by just abruptly ceasing our email contact, needless to say I won't buy from then again....

Oh and IF you can find their rails (which happen to be the only that fit this forend), they are quite pricey... End of rant.

Iron Eagle tactical Has great and prompt service with good delivery times. You will see you can purchase just the chassis, chassis pieces or entire kits. I have just ordered the stripped chassis and added my own AR 15 components. You will not be disappointed as their product is of high quality with good fit and finish.

Thanks for that info. The stock really looks cool but sounds like a real PITA

Troy T22 sport

Pros: Nice look, feel, rail, and sights. Very solid construction. Fun to shoot.

Cons: Weight and price, both are excessive.

What about the archangel kit. Is it any better than the ati ar22 kit. They seem pretty popular

Not bad for the price and if you like their polymer over aluminum. My 22 sported it until I purchased the NC receiver.

When I received my new NC hardware I noticed something very similar between the AA and NC. The upper, lowers and fore end extensions had near identical dimensions which allowed the possibility of interchangeability.

One caveat of the AA is the sloppy fit of other AR butt stocks onto the faux buffer tube. Also you can not replace the pistol grip for another brand.

Found old pics of my Nordic build. It was nice but back in the days, it was impossible to import the Troy chassis.
My next build will be with a Troy T22 for sure...

The front fore grip is proprietary to the Troy not allowing the modification to other AR fore ends.

to each their own... I'm leaning heavily toward this route - a fully functional SEMI-AUTO 1/2 scale model of the Browning M2 built using a Ruger 10/22 as the donor gun. ;)

I did build this G36C based on a 10/22 that has worked well... especially with the 110rd drum :) Its the top one next to its big brother.

I also built one in a Boyds tacticool stock with a Dlask receiver thats was hell on gophers this season...

love the custom serial #
