Let me start by saying that this is certainly not my first firearm! Not by a long shot, it's not even my first magazine fed, semi automatic 22. But it is my first new in the box firearm! Everything else I've ever owned came to me used, shotguns, rifles, pistols used. All fantastic firearms, but none new... Until now! I have an ISSC-Austria MK22 on it's way to my door from SFRC Ammo Source. I choose the desert tan color, and couldn't be more excited.

Now I'm left baffled, and I'm stunned at this... What do I put on it to make it look all.. Practicool? Maybe an AFG, or a vertical foregrip, maybe a flashlight I'll never use... Maybe one of those Limbersaver peckerhead look'n deals to... Make it look like a peckerhead.

Really what I'm curious about is what ya'll tactical 22 guys are running for optics. I was thinking of going with a Burris 1-4 or a Bushnell AR Optics 2-7 or 1-4. I do like the MP2's but I've seen too many with a crooked reticle to want to order one in. I definitely want some magnification, if I need non-magnified sights I'm gonna run a cheap little "reflex" style sight on a 45 degree "homie" mount. Planning to run some IPSC style 22lr stages with buddies out at their farm. We've got lots of old cars and stuff to shoot through, under and around, so... Things might get interesting, I anticipate we're gonna hurt some paper real, real bad.

I have a millet dms on mine, I like it, your gonna need extra high rings. I kinda like the falcon menace also. I first bought a vector optics millet dms clone. It was fine at first, but then the reticle shifted on it.

Really? Just the 22 recoil shifted the reticle? That's pretty sad, how was customer service with them?

It sure did, no customer service. Bought it off aliexpress, no recourse as far as I can tell. I read a bunch of reviews on the internet, a lot were bad, but some were good. I guess you hear what you want sometimes. 100 dollar learning lesson. Funny thing though, after I bought the real millet, I compared the two. They are identical. If the reticle hadn't shifted I would be completely satisfied, and would have saved 200.

I really like the Bushnell T dots but as I was saying, the reticles tend to come crooked. And Willis that really sucks, but at least the real Millet treated you better, eh?

As for Lucid, I've never actually handled any of their products, I'll have to check'em out... Does anyone know where I can get decent priced HK style diopter sights?

I have a Burris AR332 on my S&W that I really like. The 3 power magnification seems just right for 25-50yd plinking. It replaced a Vortex Strikefire that I really did not care fore.
