Unfortunately it appeared to be corroded. The Lab must have used corrosive ammo and not cleaned it.
I am posting a thread soon in the Red Rifles forum. Pics and details will be posted there.
Fixed stock is going to be wood
Folding stock should be metal/polymer as per original.
The finish on the prototype wood will be improved.
Stamping was done after finish on prototype, so looks a bit rough. Not going to be on final production models.
Prototype model also doesn't have barrel ribs, but final models should have ribs
lastly mags will be 5/30 not 5/5 as per prototype
Will you guys bring in the LMG version of it??????
We bought an Ak mag and it doesn't fit. Will need some significant grinding on the top we'll see later in the week if it fits.
Kind of sucks since I have a few AK mags already. :-(Please keep us informed. Hopefully they will work. Better yet, if they still work in AK's after the grinding.

Indeed it does. But not really the update I was looking for.
OK TI, visited the booth yesterday, super busy! Didn't get to ask questions. Some others might be able to help me out if TI doesn't reply in time. The hand guards and stocks, are the compatible with AK furniture? The model you guys had there was the restricted, is the models coming in going to look the same just with a 18.6" or longer barrel or are they going to look like the LMG variants?

All refunds were processed on Sunday the 13th. You should have received an email from the cc processing company or an interact e-transfer. Check your junkmail if you didn't see in your inbox.
