They do. Before WW II 45 Colt used .454 bullets but since then ones manufactured after WW II use .452 bullets.
I'd love an Alfa Proj carbine if they were NR. 357mag with a 357mag sized cylinder? Yes please!

I have about 500 rounds through my SR-45, so I would not call this a deep review; just some observations.
- Groups 45LC very slightly better than 45 ACP. Not enough difference to make a difference.
- Groups are not great; I was hoping for better. At 50 yards, shooting off bags, with a dot, I was getting 7-10" groups with 45 ACP. At 100 yards...nope. Only hitting the target 1/2 the time.
- Handles all ammo well; had one light primer strike when I was having trouble with cylinder turning in DA (see below)
- Forget birdshot. The spread is wild. i suspect the rifling is upsetting the load. No problem with 000 Buck. Fed Personal Defence gave me an average 8" spread at 15 yards.
- Faults. 1. Mine has been good overall except... after 50 rounds, there's enough dirt build up behind the cylinder that the cylinder sometimes drags. The DA is a heavy trigger pull and with the cartridge bases rubbing on the rear wall, it can be difficult to get the whole shebang moving. Keep the gun clean and lubed; it's good, but this "feature" reappears rapidly (on mine at least).
-2. The moonclips are not the best. Fiddly to load, don't grip all rounds evenly. Seems they are already on version 2 of this part.
Likes. Overall build quality is OK. Not great, but walnut is nice and it functions well enough. The blast shields do an adequate job. It's fun and a lot cheaper to run than a 410.
-Dislikes. The trigger reach is a little long for my delicate little hands.
-Overall. I like it. I had hoped for an all rounder bush gun, but I feel the accuracy is not really there for that. As a range toy; it's great.
