Tactical Inc 25 Rounds Mag failure

What a deception.. just got back from my 1st shooting weekend with my brand new Ruger 10/22 (didn't brought the SR-22.. had to backpack 40 pounds already).

everything was awesome beside the TI25 that i brought at Wanstalls which didn't worked at all... at first i tried to adjust it to a point where i had to remove all the 4 screws at the top and it still would not fit completly/stay in the ruger.. mag fell on the floor almost everytime.. and when it stayed in, a lil breeze from the wind could make the mag fall.

With shipping, that thing cost me around 95$
Thank god my 2 butlers creek mag bought for 22$ in my Montreal gun store worked flawlessly (shot 700 rounds)

Is it possible I have a defective unit ? I thought these was the Cadillac of 10/22 mags

Those magazines are supposed to be adjustible. How much did you fiddle around with them?

I have a couple of these mags. The aluminium ones. Did you remove the stock and adjust each bolt as per the [online] directions?
I got mine to fit pretty good, my only complaint would be that two of the bolts on one side of the mag need to be wound out further than the other two, and they seem a little loose when they are at their proper adjustment. I put a drop of loctite down the hole to keep them in place.
Other than that, they feed very well. All 25 rnds.
I dont know why your receiver will not hold the mag in place. In theory, if the BC mags fit, then these should too. Do a side by side comparison of the two mags to try to see any differences.
I will follow this thread, as I am curious.
