yeah they chew up your aluminum receiver. I don't care as long as they work properly but so far no luck. but then again my 10/22 is in Quebec getting repaired right now.
I got a lemon. so I can't blame the TI25 mags completely yet
you can replace the steel screws with nylon ones if you can find them. that will stop the screws from gouging your receiver.
I like how the website says they are adjusted at the factory and can be used right out of the package "as is"....mine were all screwed in and not adjusted at all.
they're a real ##### to adjust and you'll waste a lot of ammo doing it.....bent rounds, scraped lead. you pretty much have to find the compromise between the two extremes
2 questions.
where did you get nylon screws from?
and did you paint that mag yourself or did it come like that?
im contemplating painting some of my TI alum mags.
Just received a few new mags, including a TI 25 , I have a couple more on the way, ( can't remember what they are lol) . I'm gonna try 100 rnds through each mag, probably do a 100 rnds, quick clean , 100 rnds, quick clean, etc? Here's what I have so far, from left to right , 1 BC plastic lip ( it already runs good) . 1 BC steel lip, smoked ( not the best). 2 BC steel lips, clear (unfired). 1 TI 25 ( unfired). I'll be using rem golden bullits ( cause the gun likes em View attachment 15129Just received a few new mags, including a TI 25 , I have a couple more on the way, ( can't remember what they are lol) . kinda , it was compared to a washing machine , in the instructions... lol ... On their website it states, should fit tight, then a few lines later it says they should wiggle a small bit...whaaaaaaaaat.soon find out. It's gonna be shatty adjusting them at the range, as they say you need to take the receiver out of the rifle.. That's gonna be a treat. Now if I had a reaaaly small levelI can hardly wait for your report on the TI25 mag. have you adjusted it yet?

BC plastic lip works perfect... BC Smoked steel lip , after filing tip where bullit sits , fires perfect .. 2 BC clear steel lips , run at 80% ,( sure I can fix them with a file). TI25 ... Works 100 %. Here's how I adjusted it.. Open all screws so it fits tight, when you do this , the charging handle will bring up in the feed lip, then keep turning screws back in until the charging handle clears the feed lips. I then unscrewed the back bolts , so that it tipped the cartridges a little flatter. When you can release the charging handle ,and it feeds a round smoothly , you have it. Some thing else I've noticed is that the hollow point 40 g cartridge is a little longer than the 36 g cartridge and that makes a difference in my rifle.i figure the shorter ammo is not feeding right and causing stove pipes( for me anyway).. The 40 g hollow point are perfect.you want the TI 25 tilted slightly ahead and feeding easily from the first rnd, and there is a small amount of play in the mag.I find the online instructions tell you to adjust them one way....and the written instructions tell you to do it another way....and some people online tell you to do it another way
if you find a better way please let me know. lol
