I have tryed that Traskj. I even PM'd the organizer and he replyed that he was not interested in shipping me my order. Not sure if he had a problem with a cross border shippment at some point or not.

Well getting the export permit is probably too much hassle for them.

I phoned them up as well. The lady I dealt with was very nice. They stated that they don't ship to Canada due to all the extra regulations etc. Translation it's not worth the hassel for them vs the reward. The best suggestion is to have an American and or dual citizen friend get them and bring them back. Any takers?

Apparently the US customs are getting pretty strict with their export checks. I know of a few people who have been checked leaving the US for gun parts. I wouldnt want to be deported over the illegal exportation of a rimfire magazine.

Looks like I'll have to get that postage box in Point Roberts.
I'll have to look over all of the rules. Seems like a load of crap though, if it's for personal use not comercial and the items are completely legal in Canada.
I'll take a look see. There has to be a way around this garbage red tape.

What about Questar.ca ? They are importers. If we were to do a group buy it might be affordable.

I think one would look pretty good on my R22.

But...yep, if you get caught leaving the US with one it'll be confiscated, and you might have a hard time returning to the US for being caught illegaly exporting a weapon of war (I'm not sure of the correct charge)

Its the lower mainland crossings where I've heard of the export checks starting to happen more often.

There was a thread here a few weeks ago about a guy having all his seats slashed open as they searched his car for more gun stuff etc
I think it was at the peace arch

I'm deffinetly in on a group buy. Has anyone dealt with Questar? Would you be willing to call them up and get a couple of details?

LETS GO PEOPLE.....:p ......my 10/22 looks naked without a high cap mag and I'm not interested in any of the other options.
