Tactical Innovations TI25 composite 10 22 mags

Ive got 3 butler creek steel lips I use in my 10/22 nomad and they work perfect. Nearly 1000 rounds through them without a single problem. The Promags on the other hand wont feed more than 2-3 rounds without jamming. For $30 I like the steel lips just fine. But I guess since all guns seem to be just slightly different, they will all respond differently to different mags as well right.

Ya, good point. And, of course, the mags themselves vary from unit to unit as well. It seems there is some luck-of-the-draw involved here...

It is marked by Ruger for use in the Ruger Charger .22 Pistol, meaning it is a pistol magazine. Meaning it must be pinned to 10 rounds (since it is a pistol magazine) or it is a prohibited device.

So all magazines that fit the 10/22 would fit the charger meaning they all need to be pinned then? So all my banana clips and my drum mag are illegal because they too fit the charger?

Sorry, reread the earlier post and I see you were referring to the BX25 and not the TI mags. My bad, it makes more sense now. So the BX25 is prohibited only because it is advertised that it fits the charger? How long until they restrict all 10/22 magazines to 10 rounds because of this?

I bought 2 of the TI composite 25 round mags and I couldn't get one failure out of 200 rounds shooting CCI Blazer and that was without adjusting the lips and shooting out of 2 different 10/22's. These mags are the best built mags I've ever seen for the 10/22. I was going to try aluminum but figured with scratches over time they would look worn so I went with composite which is what my gun is so it matches up very nicely. I would recommend this magazine over any other that I have seen or used.

I got composite TI mags(3) from TI's website back when they would ship them to Canada right off there website! 39 bucks each and they are the best 10/22 mag ive ever had.

Im hoping they ship next week....just waiting on the red ones to complete the order. Will post here when i know they are en route!!

So its been about a month since that post, any new info regarding these?

And yes I know, I am very impatient haha. Thanks.

They got held by US State Dept for a week or so but they should be arriving today or tomorrow at our store, ideally. Relying on FedEx, here ;)

Right on, there was some guys over in the rimfire section looking for these so I let them know you were bringing these in, hopefully they don't sell out before I can get a couple. Thanks a lot.

I would like a few as well. The ability to adjust them for an individual rifle is a great idea. I just bought a new 10/22 and am having feeding issues.

Why not have a look at Tri-mags:

Your gun may no longer look happy to see you but it will have "balls". :D

BTW I bought some of the new TI25 Composites from Wanstalls as well.

I love the trimags, but you have to take each one off to use the loader. I will be getting one of these TI25 composites to replace my butler creek mag.
