Tactical Lever

I was considering doing this to a Puma Rossi Ranch Hand in .44 Mag... (assuming that I can get my hands on one in 2011.)

At 24" OAL this would be the shortest "tactical" NR rifle you could get.

Approximately how much to just add the rail?

It's 26" for NR, not 24".

And don't underestimate a .357 out of a longer barrel! It packs a punch!

Well, I do have a 336W that I'm playing with. I'm starting with a stock set from RamLine. Then a dunk in the parkerizing tank for that tactikool look. I'm ready for the mirror! Gotta admire the Marlin 336W boomstick when she's done.

I've always dreamed of cutting it down to 16.25" like a Marlin Marauder or 336Y, something like Wild West Guns' Bushpilot/Alaskan; BUT on a welfare budget!

Posted this in the other thread but I'll put it here too.

I've got a little Puma 357/38sp with 16" barrel. I'd love to get it done up like that.
It's a top eject though, and I've got some ideas from 'the judge' for mounting a MRDS over the barrel, but I haven't gotten around to it yet...

But damn, it would look awesome with the colors of that Marlin, and an Aimpoint Micro on it.

Very well done, but seems sacrilegious. It's neat but not my thing I like my lever with wood on them Really great job though.
