Just looking for information in regards to the installation of a Tactical Light on my new Remington Marine Magnum Pump shotgun . I love the Fenix Flashlights , however not impressed with their Mounting system . The Surefire is a beautiful system although on the pricey side.
Would appreciate any insight in order to do it right the First Time:)

You said do it right the 1st time, well bite the bullet and get the SF forend. There are deals to be had. You just need to shop around a bit. But if budget really won't allow it I second the above, Magpul forend with inforce light.

In my opinon, if you want the same (arguably better) performance than some of the high end lights out there, without spending sure-fire-esque money, check out the Streamlight TLR-1 series of tac lights (pressure switch sold seperately).

I bought the Streamlight TLR-1 HL based on the great reviews, and it has been holding up great on my Mossberg 500 12ga. To be honest, I don't have much experience with tac lights as this is only my second one, but so far I love everything about it and so do folks with much more real experience than me. This sucker is 630 lumens, almost like staring at the sun. Has the strobe feature too, which may come in handy for sick dance parties. Limited lifetime warranty.

At the very least check it out. It is a universal (rail-based) mounting system if that is what you're looking for.

Streamlight would be my choice as well if I was going for something rail mounted. Solid reputation, same warranty as SF last I checked and really good deals out there, especially on Ebay. And powerful as hell.

I went with a TK-15 and a CDM MOD-C clamp. It's held up just fine, but I hardly use my 870. Probably 400 or so rounds through it with the light on.

I have an old Surefire forend on my HP9-1 870 clone.

The quality is great but its output of 80 lumens is underwhelming and the cost of Surefire upgrade module is around $250 for a 250 lumen LED.

I have become enamoured with the high output and quality of the Fenix PD35. I know that it is not a designed for weapon light but for $70 I can replace them as needed and have 960 lumens.

I have one on my MR-1 rifle and it is holding up fine.
