Tactical/Modded SKS Picture Thread (can we sticky this?)

still unfinished and bad picture quality but I really like my sabertooth stock

Im grateful hical chose my name for this stock!

Here's my plinker, has all the extra toppings. Wartak rail, tapco stock(obviously), tapco stainless gas piston, tapco gas tube, Bauer 30rd mags, foregrip(not shown) , Bushnell AR/223 1-4x scope, mini muzzle break

Yeah blinded by the light, as they say...
Cumbersome is not a synonym for heavy. Once used in an actual, lengthy application it is quite apparent how awkward these types of stocks are compared to the original minimalist OEM wood stock.
Most owners don't even realize it though, because as soon as they get the gun they go gangbusters on it by trying to make it look cool and tactical looking.

I actually own an um-molested version as well. Seeing as I don't see myself going on an extended campaign with either anytime soon, I don't see the need for keeping them both minimalist. It was fun working on the rifle myself, and it looks really good. Keep up the negative comments though. They make you look bad-a$$

Yeah because every sks tactical warrior also admittedly owns an un molested one either for collector value or to substantiate the modding of another rifle. It falsely legitimizes their efforts.
Just cause you disagree, doesn't make the comment negative. Post something on a public forum, and you'd better expect opinions to be made. Not every one is going coddle your efforts and blow smoke up your ass.
Inevitably we'll see it in the EE for $1000 anyways lol!

If you don't like modded SKS's, why bother posting (repeatedly) on a post for the people who do like them? Or why bother opening said post in the first place? You obviously have zero positive input to this thread.
