Tactical mossberg 835

Hi I'm seeking some info. I've got a mossberg 835 that is like to put a tactical stock on. I've read a couple places on the net that these stocks are interchangeable with mossberg 500's. If like a magpul forend and either a magpul of ati strike force butt stock . Will they fit the model 500 stocks please help
 
I own both the 835 and the 500, I've had the butt off both of them and they're definitely not interchangeable. The 500 has a hump where it meets the gun where the 835 doesn't. As for the for-end I'm not 100% sure. IMO the 835 isn't the way to go if you want tactical because there isn't enough out there for it. I imagine its out there but I've had a hard time finding anything whereas with the 500 you can't go anywhere without seeing accessories for it. Even barrels for the 835, I've been looking for a slug barrel and anytime one comes onto the ee its gone fast and I've never seen them on any dealer sites. Boyds does have a thumbhole stock for the 835 though. If you find stuff let me know and if you want a 500 I've got one that should be delivered today that I'm not keeping, comes with 28" and 18.5" barrels and regular stock and pistol grip. Selling to buy new headlights for my truck lol plus the cabinet it full.

I didn't say all that to just sell you a shotgun, go into the ee and checkout shotgun parts area you'll see what I mean. There's 500 parts everywhere
 
Give me a day or two, my wife missed the delivery guy again, and I'll try to swap the stocks and give you a definite answer. 500 was sent out on warranty, brand new one trying to get a signature haha. As for the barrel I don't know about the 590 and 835 but the 500 and 835 definitely don't swap out.
 
Really, that's the first time I've heard about the 590a1 and the 835, didn't know that. Does the butt stock and fore end change out between the two also?
Can you answer the OPs question badboybeeson, can 500 parts be swapped onto the 835? I'm pretty sure they can't and was going to double check but maybe you could answer quicker than me

if I get a chance tomorrow ill post some pics, its 9am and my day is already full, as we were away for last few days.
the 500 as fixed mag tubes with captuered barrel nut not an end cap, so all parts but the bbl and may tube will fit.
Mossberg also has 2 different forend metal and for stocks lengths.
last most mossys have the top safety it yours is a top safety, if not and it a trigger safety its a made off shore maverick 88/ base 500.
 
The ati talon butt and forestock say they work on the 835 only if it's a pre-2006 with removable forend which mine is around 2000. So I think it will work. The magpul sga I was looking at says it only fits 500,590. I don't know what the difference would be but might just buy the ati and see if she works
