Casey from Tactical Ordnance performed his mojo on the Remington 870P 14" barrel shotgun, full Vang Comp barrel treatment (no porting), Vang-Comp ghostring sights with built in rail, jumbo safety, one shot extension, Remington youth stock with R3 recoil pad, parkerized and DE paint job (Casey calls it baby poop), also have the Trjicon RMR dual sight 8 MOA(fiber optic/tritium), sighting in on Tuesday:)

Hey gadget,
Cool blaster. Casey does awesome work, by all acounts. What's up with the "Remington youth stock"? Never heard of this mod before. Is it to reduce length of pull?

If you have time, please post a range report on the gun/Trij RMR.

The youth stock is faster to shoulder (at least for me), works better with armor or heavy layers of clothing, and yes it does reduce the length of pull to 13".

I cannot say enough good things about Casey's work, he has to date built 7 Remington 870's and one 14" 11/87 for me, and more are in the works.

Totally agree, I have stubby arms to begin with, so the 12" Hogue stock and forend were great to get. I love the grippy rubber feel. I almost couldn't get it because the first person I dealt with at Hogue said stocks were illegal to ship to Canada.:(

People online said with the 12" LOP you could hit your face with your thumb, but I shot fifty 3" 000 magnums and couldn't find one thing to complain about.

Thanks for the info on the Rem youth stock. Sounds very interesting; I'll have to try it some day.

RE: the optic. I was looking over the RMR series specs and I don't see one listed as you describe. In the Dual-Illuminated models, I see only 7.0, 9.0, and 13.0 MOA. No 8.0 MOA listed. New model or typo? :p

people online say a lot of sh*t about short shotguns despite never having fired one. i never got the 'hit your face with your thumb' thing either - theres about an inch of space between my thumb and nose.

So your the guy who owns that short 11/87...

Was at his shop while it was there being parked. Excellent piece. Where the heck did you find that?
