So i called TACORD yesterday regarding ghost ring sights for my 870 . We discussed options and i decided to go with Wilson and i also wanted an oversized safety . Great guy to talk to . I had my VISA card handy but TACORD is a small business not yet set up for credit cards but he takes EMT's , money orders and even personal cheques . It was fairly late and he didn't have an exact shipping price but i could care less if it's 5 bucks or 10 bucks . He packaged my sights and safety today and put the total bill in the package and shipped . I haven't paid him . I'm not set up for EMT's . He told me when the order arrives just send him a cheque . I told him that i'll get a money order to which he replied , that's fine or a personal cheque is fine . In this day and age i find that almost unbelievable . Two thumbs up for TACORD . The sights and safety are going on my 8.500" Dlask .
 
Nothing but good things to say about Casey. I bought some ghost ring sights off him too. He was great to deal with. He spent a long time on the phone answering all my questions and even told me to have my gunsmith call him if he had any questions on how to remove the tritium vials for install. I am looking forward to doing business with him again.
 
I've dealt with Casey a couple times, same experience as ATR. Second time he chopped a .22 barrel for me. Before starting he made sure I knew what crown he would cut and why, and wouldn't take payment until I received the barrel and was happy with the work. Needless to say it was perfect. Five star service for sure and that was just for a simple barrel chop! :cheers:
 
I agree Casey is top notch. Good advice, solid work, plain spoken and down to earth. He is not a fudd and understand the fun in tactical stuff. He also understands hunters needs too.

+100000000000 for Casaey at Tac Ord.

I'll be going back in a heart beat as soon as I have some shotgun money again.
 
I agree with everyone else who have good things to say about Casey. His work is top notch and he will gladly answer any questions without judgement or complaint. I would highly recommend both the quality of his workmanship and his character.
 
Casey pisses me off on a regular basis.



I call up and he actually has time to do a quick repair, and then he undercharges me. Rarely do i leave his shop feeling like I've paid a fair price.
 
Casey is a great guy and equally great gunsmith.
Anyone who is not familiar with his work should try him out. No wait, scratch that... don't want him to be TOO busy!
