And, isn't 5.56 widely acknowledged as "tactical underkill"??
Therefor,
should not the most important upgrade to make the AR into a tactical item be a bigger bore??
And is not 7.62 Nato or 7.62 Russian obviously and tactically better for poodles and everything else ?
[or if you can't get 7.62 R to work easily in an AR 15, then .300 Whisper best?]

As for the rest of your comments on what is "tactical", I am pretty well agreeing with you ... except after getting my eyes lazered, a peep rear sight is NOT viable for me, so the EO is absolutely required [ and I have a swack of spare batteries ].
PS: I much prefer Southern Comfort to Lysol ... the hangovers are about the same but SC is smoother goin' down.
