Tactical pistol & carbine courses in Canada?

Check out TDSA Canada, they're on this site.

I've taken both a pistol and tac rifle course with them, definitely improved my skills

I have heard good things about Agoge but haven't had the pleasure of doing one of their courses.

I have done the 2 day Phaseline Green pistol course. I set it up for our club and Earl travelled to our range to run it. Required a minimum of 8 shooters to run. Last year he ran quite a few courses in Grenville Ontario. We are hoping to have him back this year for a carbine course and if I can motivate enough people a shotgun course as well.

I did the Agoge pistol 1 course a couple weeks ago at Red Deer Shooting center ,it was awesome. went back to the range today after a vacation to practice some of the drills, it helped my form and accuracy a lot.

If you want it from "the source", and are in the Winnipeg area or willing to travel:

I am pleased to be hosting an advanced pistol class with Daryl Holland from Alias Training this fall.

It is a 2 day course (Oct 1st and 2nd), and will run approx. 9-10 hrs per day.
Round count is around 1200.
Cost is $525 USD

The class is geared toward those who carry professionally (LE/Mil.), fairly experienced and / or competitive (IDPA etc.) shooters, and will benefit any that attend.
Let me know which of these groups you fall into please.

Alias Training represents some of the biggest names in the industry (Larry Vickers, Ken Hackathorn, Bob Vogel, Pat McNamara to name a few) and this will be their first time in the Canadian market.
We have already discussed the possibility of future courses and instructors as well.

Mr. Holland's Bio:

Daryl Holland is a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major with over 20 years of active duty experience, 17 of those years in Special Operations. Five years with the 1st Special Forces Group (SFG) and 12 years in the 1st SFOD-Delta serving as an Assaulter, Sniper, Team Leader, and OTC Instructor.

He has conducted several hundred combat missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, Philippines, and the Mexican Border. He has conducted combat missions in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush Mountains as a Sniper and experienced Mountaineer to the streets of Baghdad as an Assault Team Leader.

He has a strong instructor background started as an OTC instructor and since retiring training law abiding civilians, Law Enforcement, U.S. Military, and foreign U.S. allied Special Operations personnel from around the world.

Wolverine Supplies has graciously joined as a sponsor of the event, and can assist with any of your needs for the class (discounts may apply ) such as ammunition or accessories.

Attendance is very limited and registration will begin immediately.

Please contact me via PM or email with any questions or for registration details.

Agoge Tactical Regimen out of Saskatoon SK. A BIG THUMBS WAY UP!!! If you want to learn to run your weapon systems to the max these are the guys. Have taken their carbine course and all i can say is WOW.
Would love to attend some courses in the USA to get some additional experience, but the ITAR rules and the "US Citizen Only" flag seems to be popping up every place I contact.

Thought I saw a post on CGN this week that mentioned somewhere in Calgary, etc. that was doing similar courses indoors but can't for the life of me find it now.

Can anyone provide me any guidance on schools/courses/ranges that offer tactical training / 3-gun type training in Canada?

I'm located in Ontario but willing to travel for a worthwhile course.

+ 1 for Agoge Tactical Regimen ATR. I received more knowledge and assistance from the instructors than i ever imagined.
I can't wait to go to the next course. Basics with tactical, what could be better.

We need more stuff like this that is not associated with any sport but is purely tactical. Here in Ont they try to put their boot down on this stuff... ie; like Macds said above.

What? There are some really good tactical/ firearms training instructors in Ontario...off the top of my head, 2 in your area are Millbrook Tactical and Sheepdog Tactical.

Agoge Tactical Regimen.

A number of people have travelled from Alberta, Manitoba and I believe BC and have said it was well worth it. I believe Agoge will travel to train as long as there is sufficient people signed-up and paid to make it economical.

I did their lvl 1 pistol last weekend. They are excellent.

agoge tactical for sure
I did the level one pistol course in Regina this February
First class instructors... They know their stuff. And can teach what they know...
Want to go again, next year for level two if I can ...

If you get the chance to go to their range, it looks like a great course there.. Lots of room for different stuff..
